The hammam is one of the oldest wellness environments in the world

A tradition of communal bathing, heat, steam, and ritual care that has persisted across centuries and cultures. At its finest, it is an architecture: a sequence of spaces that move the body through heat, cleansing, and rest with intention and beauty.

Prestige Wellness designs and delivers complete hammam environments for every scale of project. Every installation is resolved as an architectural whole. We deliver the heated marble floor as well as domed ceiling through to the carved stone basins, bespoke lighting, and steam system, with deep knowledge of traditional hammam environments and contemporary wellness design.

What We Design and Deliver

Heated Marble Platforms & Göbek Taşı

The ceremonial heart of the hammam is a central heated stone platform designed for treatment and rest. Specified in marble, travertine, or stone, heated from below and resolved as the architectural focal point of the space.
Heated Floors, Walls & Surfaces

Radiant heat distributed through floors and walls creates the enveloping warmth that defines the hammam experience, specified for the thermal performance required and the materials selected.
Steam Systems & Controls

Wet steam at lower temperatures than a conventional steam room, creating the high-humidity environment that characterizes the hammam. Fully integrated with the architecture of the space and programmable for commercial use.
Bespoke Stone & Tile Work

Every hammam we design is finished in materials selected for the project, from hand-cut mosaic and zellige tile to carved marble and polished travertine. We work with specialist craftspeople to deliver finishes that cannot be achieved through standard specification.
Treatment Areas & Kese Stations

Dedicated areas for kese scrub treatment, soap massage, and ritual bathing, designed for guest comfort and therapist ergonomics, and integrated into the spatial sequence of the hammam.
Basins, Taps & Water Features

Hammam basins, taps, water channels, and decorative water features, selected and specified to suit the material palette and spatial logic of each project.
Lighting & Atmosphere

Ambient and architectural lighting designed to work within the heat and humidity of the hammam environment.
